It would be impossible to remove one of these systems (fuel, for example) and still have a car that drives. So while you can’t necessarily say the car electrical system is the “most important,” it does come pretty close — especially as the technology veers toward a hybrid and electric future. Here is a quick overview of electrical system components and a look into how conventional gas engine-powered vehicles use electricity.

When the button is pushed the ground connection is made, energizing the relay's coil "A". The coil's iron core (in this particular design) pulls down arm, connecting high-current contacts "B". High current then flows from the battery to the horn (the horn is connected to ground because it's mounted to the chassis of the car). See how it works?
By Salomon Herbert. Engine Wiring. Published at Thursday, January 11th 2018, 04:39:32 AM. There are two types of valves: intake valves and outtake valves. Intake valves bring a mixture of air and fuel into the combustion chamber to create the combustion to power the engine. Outtake valves let the exhaust that’s created after the combustion out of the combustion chamber.

A vehicle's stereo system sometimes has a separate amplifier, and when installing a new receiver, you generally need to connect the new stereo's speaker wires to the factory amp's output section. These amp bypass harnesses allow you to use the power from the new car stereo to drive your speakers and not rely on factory power.
By Gabin Placide. Engine Wiring. Published at Thursday, January 11th 2018, 03:50:43 AM. The valvetrain is the mechanical system that’s mounted to the cylinder head that controls the operation of the valves. The valve train consists of valves, rocker arms, pushrods, and lifters.

If you find yourself with a broken circuit make sure it is professionally repaired to make sure it doesn’t happen again. This may include replacing a single wire or an entire section of your vehicle’s wiring harness. Bad wiring can be difficult to track down and can cause a lot of problems with your vehicle. Make sure to have any electrical problems you have fixed quickly and professionally to avoid future problems and a possible fire hazard.
By Bertrand Rainier. Engine Wiring. Published at Thursday, January 11th 2018, 02:50:05 AM. Pistons move up and down the cylinder. They look like upside down soup cans. When fuel ignites in the combustion chamber, the force pushes the piston downward, which in turn moves the crankshaft (see below). The piston attaches to the crankshaft via a connecting rod, aka the con rod. It connects to the connecting rod via a piston pin, and the connecting rod connects to the crankshaft via a connecting rod bearing.

It has a lower melting point than the wire itself. The size of the conductor is calibrated very carefully so that when the rated current is reached, enough heat is generated to melt the conductor and so break the circuit.
