To deliver and monitor electrical power to various devices and sensors while under control of the computer system or a passenger inside the car.

Once apart the male side of the connector is designed with terminals that protrude outward which fit into sockets on the female side. Electrical or wire connectors can vary from a single terminal to many terminal depending on the application. Wire and connectors vary in size due to different amperage loads for each circuit.
By Salomon Herbert. Car Electrical Wiring. Publised at Sunday, February 18th 2018, 00:40:01 AM. A set of control relays act as the main switching center of the electrical power. These relay's act as electronic switches that are controlled by the computer or by a manual switch. Once engaged the relay connects a circuit which activates a particular device.

Sometimes you install the kit in the dash, then slide the new stereo's metal mounting sleeve (if included) into the kit. Secure the metal sleeve by using a screwdriver to bend the sleeve's metal tabs into place. In other cases, you attach the mounting kit to the new stereo first, then secure both in the dash with screws.
By Bertrand Rainier. Fuse Box Wiring. Published at Monday, February 26th 2018, 13:49:38 PM. First clean the wires with the wire brush to keep everything clean. The car fuse box is near the battery most of the time. Unplug the safe box by unclipping it. Depress the locking tab and pull it out. Remove the cover of the fuse box. In the cover, you can see a diagram with all the fuse positions. Here is where you need your owner’s manual to find the exact electrical diagrams needed to put the wires in the right place.
By Hadrien Gratien. Fuse Box Wiring. Published at Monday, February 26th 2018, 09:16:10 AM. The pin/socket retainer is a piece of plastic that slides into the connector from the front. It wedges against all of the plastic locking barbs so they can't release. This piece makes it nearly impossible for the pins and sockets to work their way loose.

Alternators are actually small generators capable of turning mechanical into electrical energy. Driven by the engine belt, alternators use a small signal from the battery to energize a field current that turns a rotor inside a set of stators. Since this energy is driven by the polarity of magnetic fields, the current produced as a result changes direction as the rotor turns, producing current in opposite or alternating directions (hence AC). Alternators produce significantly higher currents than initially supplied by the battery, so they are used to recharge the battery itself and power other electrical components.
By Mathis Camille. Fuse Box Wiring. Published at Sunday, February 25th 2018, 20:52:48 PM. Fuses are simple in design. Inside a fuse is a soft wire with a specific cross-sectional thickness. This dimension dictates how many amps can be carried before the wire melts. Too many amps and the fuse fails, saving the rest of the circuit from damage.
By Jeannot Ludovic. Fuse Box Wiring. Published at Sunday, February 25th 2018, 19:20:46 PM. Suppose the horns don't work. Where do you start your troubleshooting? Here's a good procedure: 1. Check the fuses. 2. Check for voltage to the horns at the horn connector. Push the horn button or jump the wire to ground to actuate the relay. If you have voltage the horns should be operable, so search elsewhere for the problem. 3. Check for voltage at the horn button. While there, check to be sure the button's contacts touch each other when pushed. If everything's ok, go to the relay. 4. With someone pushing the horn button, check for voltage (on the low-current wire coming from the dash) on the relay. If there is voltage, the relay isn't working, right?
